I love a day of shopping and fun, especially during the holidays, and Promenade Shopping Centre is truly the perfect place for it. There are amazing stores, great restaurants, a delicious food court and so many activities to enjoy. There are also exciting new additions on the way which makes every visit feel fresh. Promenade Shopping Centre is one of my favourite places to spend the day because it brings together shopping and entertainment in a warm, inviting atmosphere that has something for everyone.

Located in beautiful Thornhill, Promenade is a complete shopping and entertainment destination with an upscale feel and a fantastic selection of stores for the whole family. With more than one hundred and fifty stores and services, the mall offers incredible variety for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, gifts and more. Along with its great shopping, Promenade also features a movie theatre, bowling, arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars and pickleball. It is the kind of place where you can spend the entire day enjoying every moment, especially during the holiday season.

The holidays add an extra layer of magic. The mall is filled with beautiful holiday decor, festive displays and an atmosphere that instantly puts you in a cheerful mood. Families can visit Santa, enjoy holiday photo moments and take advantage of gift wrapping services. The environment feels cozy, festive and full of joy, making it one of my favourite places to visit this time of year.

How to Spend the Perfect Day at Promenade Shopping Centre

We began our day by taking in all the beautiful holiday decor throughout the mall. The festive atmosphere is incredible and really sets the tone for a cheerful and fun day.

Our first stop was lunch at Pur and Simple. They serve some of the best breakfast, brunch and lunch options and everything on the menu is delicious. We tried a few of their popular dishes as well as the waffle which was amazing. The space has a bright and relaxing aesthetic which makes it a perfect place to start the day.

After lunch, we visited Santa. The setup is truly magical and the Santa at Promenade is wonderful. Booking is quick and easy and there are several packages available. I selected Package A Plus which included prints, digital copies and a small gift. It was such a lovely experience and perfect for families who want to capture holiday memories.

We then continued our day at Fruit of the Land. This store is a favourite of mine because it has so many unique gourmet items and beautifully curated gift baskets. You can customize a basket or choose one that is ready to go. They also have the most adorable little cafe in the back and the maple latte is delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the visit even more enjoyable.

Next, we stopped at Showcase for some holiday shopping. They always have such fun, trending and unique items. From seasonal decor to great gift ideas for everyone on your list, it is an amazing store to explore during the holidays.

After our shopping, we headed to Bowl and Blaster. This is such a fun spot with bowling, arcade games, laser tag and bumper cars. It is perfect for families and adds an exciting and energetic part to your day. We had so much fun enjoying the activities and it is a great place to relax and have a good time after shopping.

To end the day, we visited PicklePlex Social Club. This spot is stylish, lively and so much fun. It is an amazing place to unwind, play pickleball and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere. Since it stays open later than the mall, it is the perfect way to finish off a full day at Promenade.
