Mississauga is such a beautiful place to celebrate the holidays, and what better way to enjoy the season than with family and friends? Mississauga is a destination for adventure, family fun, amazing food, and unforgettable experiences. This year, we explored some of the city’s most festive locations through the Mississauga Holiday Cocoa Crawl with five stops, the perfect way to experience the holiday magic.

Stop 1: Square One Lindt Chocolate and Holiday Shopping in Mississauga

I was so excited to start the Cocoa Crawl at Square One’s Lindt Chocolate store. Lindt Chocolate is known for its rich, creamy taste and is perfect for gifting or treating yourself. The store is filled with favourites and seasonal goodies, plus delicious drinks and crema gelata.

My sister, nephews, and I spent the day holiday shopping. Square One has everything from big-name brands to smaller local shops, so you’re guaranteed to find thoughtful gifts for everyone. We ended our visit with the Lindt Chocolate Store for hot and iced chocolates and some incredible crema gelata.

Square One also had a super fun gingerbread experience and Santa visit, perfect for families with kids.

Stop 2: Chocolate and Love Café and the Best Hot Chocolate in Mississauga

Our next stop was Chocolate and Love Café in the City Centre area. This café is absolutely stunning, a chocolate lover’s paradise with beautiful décor and a warm, cozy atmosphere. They offer delicious treats like chocolate fondue and giant chocolate bombs that are perfect for sharing.

Their hot chocolates are rich and comforting, ideal for winter days. And if you still need gifts, you can pick up customizable truffles and chocolate boxes that are perfect for holiday giving.

Stop 3: Streetsville Tree Lighting Festival and a Magical Holiday Experience

For our third stop, my husband and I enjoyed a festive date night at the Streetsville Tree Lighting Festival. It truly felt like a Hallmark movie with beautifully decorated shops, twinkling lights, and a gorgeous tree.

The artisan market showcased amazing small local businesses, and the live music added to the festive charm. They even had Santa there. If you’re exploring Streetsville this season, check out the cozy local shops and stop by BeaverTails for a marshmallow-topped hot chocolate. You can also enjoy so many delicious BeaverTails as dessert, and it was almost impossible for us to choose because everything sounded so tempting. We loved strolling through the charming village afterward.

Stop 4: Port Credit Holiday Lights, Local Shopping, and Leondis Chocolates

Next, we visited Port Credit, another must-see holiday spot in Mississauga. The tree at Port Credit Memorial Park is stunning, and the skating rink nearby is perfect for a fun winter day with family or friends.

During our walk, I discovered a new favourite shop, Maker Market Collective, featuring over seventy local artisans and small businesses. It’s an amazing place to find unique gifts while supporting the community.

We finished this stop at Leondis Chocolates and Café, a beautifully designed and cozy spot. Their customizable hot chocolates, complete with artistic designs on top, make the experience extra special. We also enjoyed their cheesecake, a giant cookie, and chocolates. It is definitely a place we are excited to revisit.

Stop 5: Erin Mills Town Centre Santa, Holiday Décor, and Festive Treats

We wrapped up the Cocoa Crawl at Erin Mills Town Centre, where the holiday décor is always magical. The giant tree, twinkling lights, and Santa’s area create such a festive atmosphere.

I took my mom and sister for a shopping day and found beautiful gifts at Basketique, one of my favourite stores. We ended the day at Crêpes De Luxe, enjoying hot chocolates, iced lattes, and delicious Crêpes. The European-inspired setting made it the perfect spot to relax and celebrate the season.
